Girl - 2 - in stable condition after being pulled from spa

A 2-year-old girl was pulled from the water Thursday after she was found floating in a spa at an apartment complex in the 6000 block of West Oregon Avenue.

The child was rushed to Phoenix Children's Hospital, where she was reported in stable condition, said Elio Pompa, a deputy chief for the Glendale Fire Department.
Other children, as well as the girl's mother, were on hand, but didn't see her fall into the water, underscoring the need for constant vigilance, Pompa said.
